Before dedicating himself exclusively to baking, Luiz Silva had a promising career in the kitchen
professional. It all began when, on his days off at the São Gabriel restaurant in Almancil, he started
making bread for neighbours and colleagues. "Little by little I fell in love with it and started making
bread for the staff, for the clients, for my neighbours. Everything grew," says Luiz Silva. What
seemed to be just a one-off experience, it quickly turned into a life project, which
led to the creation of Pão com Manteiga in 2019, which is already a benchmark for both its quality and

Between 23 and 27 January, FELINO was present at SIRHA Lyon, one of the most important international events for bakery, pastry and confectionery professionals.
